This wine has been produced since many years by the Biondi Santi family at the "Greppo" estate, for their exclusive pleasure, but it has been available on the market only recently. This particular Rosato is made out of Sangiovese grapes, fermented like a white wine (without grapestones’ skin). This wine is produced by bleeding the pressed rasp of the Sangiovese grapes used for Brunello di Montalcino; the must is then processed thru a "white" wine-making process.
