Excellent vintage in 1981. Favourable seasons' development, with a warm and rainy month of May, warm and dry months of July and August. Average rain showers in September, but dry harvest. The cork has been substituted in April 2000.

| Notes for best tasting |
| Rise the bottle in vertical position at least one week before tasting, in order to concentrate the ev. crust of natural insoluble dyestuff at the bottom. The bottles with a strongly marked "picure" are excellent. Uncork and unfill the top of the bottle at least 8 hours before tasting. To pour the wine slope the bottle with an adequate basket. |
